Miles Fanning Legal launches RISKARMIS® COVID-19 Crisis Assistance Package

Miles Fanning Legal is currently advising its clients on the developing scenarios arising out of the current COVID-19 pandemic. This includes obligations under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements 2018 (“PTR 2018”), in respect of customer rights, through to considering and advising on the terms of underlying commercial agreements with suppliers.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the RISKARMIS® COVID-19 Crisis Assistance Package to assist package organisers of all sizes through these difficult and uncertain times. The pack takes into consideration key issues that we have seen arise over the past few weeks, which has left the industry in turmoil.

What does it cover?

  • Guidance on obligations for handling customer cancellations under the PTR 2018
  • Support on what to be looking for, in existing supplier contracts, to ascertain if you can recover refunds from suppliers (e.g. the effects of applicable force majeure provisions and corresponding rights)
  • Up to 1 hour of support – via telephone or video link for general queries arising out of the current situation and including assistance with responding to customers and suppliers
  • Useful links to government guidance including support for your staff.
